Rides to the Center
When you use public transport to the Center you will get closest by bus till Emmaljunga Hultahusvägen and otherwise Vittsjö Train Station. From here you can preorder a ride to the Center which you do in the link in the email about “Your Arrival to the Center”. Taxi 
If you need a taxi we can recommend using Hässleholm Taxi (https://hassleholmtaxi.se/?gclid=CjwKCAiAnL-sBhBnEiwAJRGiggT_Ql1d6HdkhPEg3Gw20BiblryWQta6EGyc43cljir9LWPTkKj18BoCzNwQAvD_BwE)as they have rides all the way from Malmö to the Hässleholm area. Their phone number: +46 0451-12000.

Another option is Taxi-Kenth in Markaryd, which is for local rides and it is good to arrange in good time. Their phone number: +46 43312300.

Car
When traveling by car please use the Center address in your GPS and be in contact with us at swedencenterrides@shortmoments.com (mailto:rides@shortmoments.com) if anything further is needed.

When leaving Copenhagen, please consider the two options for crossing Öresund. We have the Öresundslinjen,(https://www.oresundslinjen.dk/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_content=brand-related&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjw7s20BhBFEiwABVIMrSogqcJlXMI1S16WXXBrpNvr13d4cvQMWqmo9Lnf42rqujzDtJtVrxoC6oMQAvD_BwE) a ferry from Helsingör til Helsingborg and the Öresundsbron,(https://www.oresundsbron.com/da/priser) a bridge to Malmö.

If you are driving to Helsingör from Copenhagen you can either take the highway which will get you there in 30 min or you can take the scenic route by the coast called Strandvejen. It is a lovely drive if you have a bit more time.

Question 3

How do I know which room I will stay in?

Rooms will be assigned from the information in your registration and confirmed on the day, and either shared  by the driver on the way to the Center or via email for those arriving by private car. I need to cancel my stay, do I get a refund?

Accepted Answer

1. It is supportive to recieve your payments 7 days in advance. 
 
2. In case of cancellation or no show up:
 • Earlier than 14 days prior to your agreed arrival date: Full refund except processing fees.
 • 14–11 days prior to your agreed arrival date: 50% refund of the payment to the center. Except processing fees.
 • 10-7 days prior to your agreed arrival date: 25% refund of the payment to the center and the donation to the training. Except processing fees.
 • Less than 7 days prior to your agreed arrival date: no refund (this also includes shortening your stay while being at the Center).

Note: Cancellation due to sickness: Cancellation due to illness documented by a medical certificate – full refund in the form of a voucher for the next stay at the Center. This voucher will expire after 6 months from the date of the cancellation.

3. The Center offers a limited number of payment plans opportunities for participants who need this support. Write to SwedenCenter@shortmoments.com to apply. Please note, upon confirmation of your payment plan you agree to complete it on time with no delays. It is best to set scheduled payments.

We are making the Sweden Center cash free, this means you can pay for your stay and other costs with card in payments links sent together with your guests statement, bank transfers and SWISH (if you are Swedish).

How do I apply for a scholarship?

When applying for a scholarship, you need to follow these three steps and then we will be in contact to confirm your scholarship.

1. Room

When you select your accommodation, please select the accommodation you wish to stay in. We will assign rooms from the information in your application and this makes it easier for us to assign the right rooms for you and all.

2. Chose scholarship
In section 5 ‘Participant Info’ you click the “Yes” under “Do you need a scholarship for your accommodation?” Then a new box will open where you can write the details for your scholarship.

3. Payment
In section 7 ‘Payment’ please choose “Pay via Wire Transfer or Swish” to finish your registration. Please do not make your payment prior to our response to your scholarship request. We will include a guest statement and payment link to finalize and secure your stay.

Question 7

I am allergic to certain foods. What do I do?

Our food is mainly cooked with oils, but some dishes contain dairy (butter, feta milk, or cheese). We cater for dairy and gluten free on the ‘allergy table’. On days when milk products are in the main dish, you can take side dishes and lettuce from the main table and the dishes from the allergy table which will be a selection of quinoa/rice/vegetables/tahini.

We do not cater for vegan nor raw food. You are welcome to use the kitchen in the Guest house to prepare the food for yourself that accommodates your special needs and eat what you can from the dining hall.

In the guest house we have kitchens on each floor, with refrigerator, stove, oven, common utensils, cutlery, cups and dishes. We hand wash in these kitchens and you are welcome to bring your own special kitchen gear to use within the kitchen's limitations.

Can I bring my children to the Center?

Parents with children
When applying to stay at the Center with your children please be aware of these things to ensure a great experience for you and your child(ren).

Applications for children
Please send one application for yourself and another for your child(ren) aged 2 and above so your children are counted for meals. Choose a room that matches your wish for their stay and write the contribution in the special need box.

The rates for children are:
 •  2-5 years: 						50 SEK/ day
 •  6-12 years: 					100 SEK/ day
 • 13-15 years: 					150 SEK/ day
 • 16+ years: 					regular rates/scholarships

Service (for 7 and older) 
If your child has a preference for service area whilst they are at the center, please include that in their application. We will relay the information to the Service Coordinator and together you and the Service Coordinator can come up with a suitable service role for your child during their stay.

Activities and Guidelines at the Center
 • The Center is a quiet space during Trainings and silent periods and accommodation is in buildings and outdoor areas for tents which are shared with other guests. Please support your child(ren) to be aware of and take care with the quiet spaces and times.

• There will be designated hangout spaces for the children at the Center. Please bring your child's favorite activities and games to share as we do not have activity supplies for children at the center. 
 • Childcare: During Training times, parents are responsible for organizing appropriate care for your child between yourself and other parents and participants.
